On Friday, March 11th, North East Japan was hit by a magnitude 9 earthquake.
Fortunately, the MDI headquarters in Osaka as well as our factories in Nagano are not affected;
operation and production are scheduled to run as planned.
The only problem which might occur is the transportation because many cargo flights are delayed or
cancelled. Nevertheless, we will try our utmost to avoid delays and keep our customers updated.
Our thoughts and hearts are with the people of Japan. We share the pain and loss of their loved ones,
their homes and property and we want to express our deepest sympathies to all who are affected by
this tremendous catastrophe.
